I was just told by my OBGYN that I should get both the flu shot and the H1N1 vaccination. I am 4 months pregnant with twins and I need some input on whether I should or shouldn't get vaccinated. Up until now I have done everything organic and all natural because I don' t want to cause harm to my babies, plus I like that lifestyle for mself personally. But frankly, getting the flu during pregnancy does scare me a bit. I want to stick with my decision NOT to vaccinate, but I am scared I may make the wrong decision and have something drastic happen - like losing my babies and even worse - my own life. I'm not really into scare tactics of the media, but when you get pregnant, your whole world changes and you begin to question yourself because you aren't just affecting yourself anymore, but two very fragile beings inside of you. What are your thoughts?

Do not take vaccines.
BE HEALTHY BE HAPPY
The flu/H1N1 vaccines are bad news. The choice, especially regarding the H1N1 vaccine, comes down to whether you think an untested, fast-tracked vaccine is safe. Common sense dictates that items that come out have a lot of problems in their first year. It is especially suspicious that this vaccine is being force-fed down all of our throats when it has only killed less than 500 people and likely infected five million. Even Mike has reversed his stance and now says that the swine flu is harmless.
If you are as organic and natural as you say, your immune system is better than 95% of all people, you don't need a vaccine to stay healthy, and if you're healthy, your babies will be healthy. I can't imagine how injecting a chemical cocktail containing mercury and aluminum could help your unborn babies.
The flu vaccinations usually contain mercury, and should not be given during pregnancy. The mercury gets into the fetus, who does not even have a blood-brain barrier to filter anything out. I don't know whether the H1N1 has mercury or not, but the safety and efficacy of this vaccine is totally untested and unknown. You are responsible for your own decisions, but I certainly wouldn't get any vaccinations during pregnancy (actually I could never get pregnant since I'm a man, but if... ).
The best way to protect yourself from any viral illness is by taking a lot of vitamin C and vitamin D. Make sure your vitamin D level is at least 50ng/ml, and to do this you can take thousand of IU a day safely, even during pregnancy. As to vitamin C, especially during pregnancy you should take around 10,000 mg a day. I'll be happy to provide more info on any of this upon request.

Do not get vaccines. It is sad how misled even the news media is on vaccines. It's good to see that some pregnant women are not falling for the scare tactics of the media and doctors. But they are ramping up their efforts to push them on pregnant women. Very sad.
This was on the news today... H1N1 vaccine divides pregnant women

the quick facts are:
seasonal flu shots are not the same strain as the current seasonal flu...therefore they usually are not effective at preventing the flu
h1n1 vaccine has not even been tested
there are mercury and other harmful toxins that will be injected directly into your bloodstream that will do serious damage.
