Recently I have seen several articles on some internet news confusing or blurring fructose with high fructose corn syrup. Also fake nutritional news that pretends to be real nutritional news- they blur the line between ingredients and meanings to confuse and condition people into thinking a certain way in order to avoid and hide the real truth about the products.
I read some time ago that the "fructose " in "high fructose corn syrup" is not really fructose at all and was put in that word to confuse people in to thinking high fructose corn syrup is fruit related or derived from fruit and therefore healthy for you - very tricky indeed. Now recently I have seen some articles that try to say that fructose is high fructose corn syrup like in this article http://shine.yahoo.com/channel/health/natural-sweeteners-that-can-replace-sugar-302605/ again they are blurring the meaning here to avoid the truth about high fructose corn syrup or to make it seem less sinister - please note that most if not all high fructose corn syrup is derived from GM corn and is a highly processed chemical - not a simple healthy sugar from fruits.
I would like to know does the "fructose" in "high fructose corn syrup" really come from Fructose?
Here is another example of news blurring the truth - http://health.yahoo.com/experts/drmao/20270/what-soft-drinks-are-doing-to-your-body/ One part among others where they mention about aspartame "An article put out by the University of Texas found that aspartame has been linked to obesity. The process of stimulating the brain causes more cravings for sweets and leads to carbohydrate loading." an article put out by???...well there have been thousands of articles on aspartame and most say it is a neurotoxin that seriously affects if not damages the brain - not just linked to obesity! you see they hide the real truth by saying aspartame causes cravings for sweets and therefore leads us to eat more - well aspartame affects us not only neurologically but physically so that we cannot process the carbohydrates and sugars properly - this is what leads to obesity.
Read between the lines and understand the news!
